This is already scarf 11, can’t believe how many I already have been weaving. This one has some blues, oranges, and green. It was a little experiment, but it ended well. Up to the next one !
Like many other weavers I never made a scarf for myself. Making a scarf for myself is on my urgent-to-do-list.
Until soon !
When I was born, my mother made me a embroidery work. She did the same thing for each of her new born child. She always have been doing cross stitches. I remember, that when I was little, I already loved to do cross. Inspired by my mother.
I think it is time to start again, make embroidery works. For me it are still just experiment embroideries. I love to do some embroidery on the train, or with a coffee. It makes me calm.
Happy embroidery days.
Blogging has been a bit difficult lately. I’ve been busy with a lot of weaving, working, overthinking things, embroidery, spending time with my love, a little holiday to Berlin, … . The days are passing by quickly, and before I know, there was more than a month without blogging. But here I am, filled with new energy and ideas.
I was in Berlin for 5 days, staying in a beautiful apartement, making walks and drinking a lot of coffee. All the pictures shown in this blogpost are things I saw in Berlin. I have a long list of addresses I liked, but here are my 3 favorites:
- The Barn Roastery, for coffee.
- International wardrobe, with beautiful ethnic clothes.
- Botanical garden, the biggest of the world (!!!).
Until very soon !
I went again to Paris for a few days. It’s always good to be back in the city that I love. Discovering new places, seeing great expositions. The textile exhibition in Musée Art Moderne was, by far, the best expo that I once saw in Paris.
I came home with a lot of good memories, a lot of new working materials, a mind full of fresh inspirations, and a camera filled with pictures. Here are some of them.
