My avocado’s are doing so well. I first thought I never would be able to let grow my own avocado-plant. The first 3 months there just didn’t happened a thing. But at the moment all my pits are getting roots. I’m so so so thrilled about that. Soon my room will transform in ‘avocado-paradise’.

If you want to give your avocado-pit some roots, put him in the water half (with the largest size in the water). And put the bowl on a ‘darker’ and warm place. From the moment that there is appearing some little roots and leaves you can put the bowl by the window. When the leaves are getting big you plant your pit in the soil. The plant likes a light place, but no direct sun, because that can burn his leaves.

Wat zien ze er goed uit. Ik heb er helaas nog maar eentje over, na een invasie van witte vliegjes die al m’n planten vernielden

Hermine heeft een groen hart dat ze wikkelt in blauwe weefsels. Misschien is dit de sleutel om alles zo mooi te laten groeien.

heymaarzeghermine, hoe verzorg je die? Geef je ze veel water of net niet? Ik heb er hier één van een jaar of drie oud en de toppen van de blaadjes worden altijd bruin en uitgedroogd en na een eind vallen ze af. Er komen wel nog nieuwe blaadjes bij, maar ‘t is zo geen zicht met al die kapotte blaadjes. En ik heb geen idee wat ermee te doen…
Help!
